The Power of Photography: Time, Mortality and Memory.
We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone. Photos are not only worth a thousand words, but also the precious memories embedded into them. They memorialise a moment in time that will never happen again, but serve as a reminder of the exact feelings and emotions felt when the shutter went off.
Moments to Remember
-
Padar Island, Komodo National Park
Often dubbed as the best place to hike in the area and popular place to visit among visitors in the region due to its unique view of tri-coloured beaches from the top of the hill. You could see the breathtaking view of the whole island. From the top, the rugged brown peaks of the dry savannah set as a contrasting background for the natural blends of the tri-coloured beaches of gray, white, and pink before flowing seamlessly into the turquoise ocean.

Pink Beach, Flores
Pink Beach is one of seven pink beaches on the planet, and is just one of the many amazing features of Komodo Island that make it truly a Natural Wonder of Nature. This exceptional beach gets its striking colour from microscopic animals called Foraminifera, which produces a red pigment on the coral reefs. When the tiny fragments of red coral combine with the white sands, this produces the soft pink colour that is visible along the shoreline. So beautiful.

Liveaboard in Komodo
Liveaboards in Komodo are a very popular choice for adventurous souls visiting Indonesia and rightly so-considering how magnificent this region is. Cruising the the islands that make up the area of Komodo National Park for three day, exploring the beautiful nature of the national park while enjoying the relaxing journey on the boat. The islands hopping, the exploration of the underwater life, the food! They all have been one of the best experiences I have in my life.

Sunrise in Mount Batur, Bali
The Mount Batur sunrise trekking is an amazing experience during our time in Bali. It offers one of the best viewpoints of Bali and is one of the best spots to watch the sunrise in Bali. We left Canggu around 4am with our bikes, the long ride was well rewarded.
-
Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida
Kelingking beach definitely lived up to all the Instagram hype - this beach is unreal, from the cliffs overlooking the sea and the hike down to the beach—which is a full leg day by itself, especially the hike back up. But I will say that the beauty of this place worths the extra hike.
Enjoy the moment, capture the memory.
